About the Role

iCapital is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to help lead the development of iCapitals Distributed Ledger Technology APIs & client system integrations.

This individual will be working in a team-oriented environment with smart & hardworking individuals in a results-oriented culture with support from the Executive Management.

This is a management level role with room for growth & oversight over teams, projects, & space. This person will have the opportunity to solve fun & complex industry wide problems, spanning across various alternative investment data workflows.

This role works directly with end users & clients to bring scale & efficiency spanning across a multitude of different business processes.

This is an opportunity to utilize the latest technologies & innovative solutions. This individual will own, lead, & deliver various solutions with direct oversight of data models, data validation, & data integrations, largely defining & influencing others in your own space, from identifying unmet needs to defining requirements, writing user stories, developing project communication plans, & testing implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engagement with end users & clients to identify & deliver solutions to core functional areas & user needs.
  • Develop the strategic roadmap & lead the direction of the product data models & APIs in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Present, communicate, & work directly with executive management as needed & provide status updates of critical strategic implementations.
  • Resolve issues & concerns around the allocation of resources & work with stakeholders to manage expectations & setting of priorities.
  • Work with the production support team & provide oversight & work to resolve existing gaps with new builds or proposals for new resources.
  • Propose & plan team structure & expansion where necessary with a well thought out plan of execution as the company grows.
  • Mentor the team by coaching & leading by example from all aspects of development whether building relationships or project execution.
  • Identify the highest leverage areas andmobilize key constituents quickly to deliver great productsand critical key API features & functions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of business impacts & what is most critical & manage the team & space for concurrent requests & requirements.
  • Test & review client integrations & oversee team execution in general & ensure flawless execution.
  • Monitor the performance of the APIs & connectivity with clients to continuously improve itthrough all the life-stages of a product.
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape from a business, legal, & compliance perspective.
  • Step outside the product realm when appropriate to contribute to the team & overall company mission.

Qualifications

  • 5 -10+ years of experience in product managementin a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Proven track record of management of technical teams & projects
  • Excellent management skills for organizing requests & priorities
  • Track record of exercising strong influence in partnerships with colleagues, teams, & clients
  • Great communicator & comfortable engaging executive management for ideas & resolutions
  • Natural problem solver & driven to push initiatives to conclusions
  • Critical thinker & comfortable with the unknown
  • Financial technologybackgroundstrongly preferred
  • Willingness to dig deep, analyze & know the ins & outs of how things work
  • Data analysis experience is required, with an emphasis in SQL & developing API integrations
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of organizational data flow & its impact on business processes
  • Expertise with QA testing & business analysis & project management
  • Strong technical background andunderstanding; ability to design & implement strategic API functionalities at scale
  • Strong interpersonal skills & capable of building relationships to gain buy in & achieve business results
  • History of customer centric focus with a knack for quick & thoughtful problem-solving
  • Strong interpersonal & presentation skills
  • Experience in data engineering & quantitative science is preferred, but not required

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $180,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, & an annual performance bonus.
