CFS has once again partnered with a well-respected, long-standing construction company located in Raleigh. Our client is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to be a key member of their growing accounting team and help take the company to the next level.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Financial Reporting : Prepare and analyze margin reports, generate daily insights, and highlight trends.
- Collaboration & Data Integrity : Ensure accurate data collection, communicate discrepancies, and resolve issues.
- Trucker Payables Management : Process, verify, and maintain trucker payables, and resolve payment inquiries.
- Ad Hoc Analysis : Respond to financial data requests and support decision-making with detailed analysis.
- Process Improvement : Provide financial insights and contribute to process improvements.
- Closing Activities : Assist with month-end and year-end closings, ensuring accurate records.
Skills and Abilities :
- Accounting Knowledge : Understanding of US and Canadian accounting principles (GAAP & IFRS).
- Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Organized : Excellent time management and task prioritization.
- Analytical : Ability to identify trends and provide financial insights.
- Communicative : Strong skills for internal and external interactions.
- Adaptable : Flexibility to handle changing business needs and multitask.
- Experienced : Familiarity with Sage Fixed Asset Accounting and Viewpoint ERP systems.
- Degree : Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
