Our well-established and growing Financial Services Firm in Carlsbad, CA is seeking to add a New Business Specialist to our Team! The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has the desire to work in the industry long-term and contribute to the growth of our business.

This position requires that you possess the following skills :
- Knowledge of Redtail CRM, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and Microsoft Word Processing software
- Ability to prioritize projects and manage time
- Savvy customer service to include excellent communication both verbal and written
- Strong follow-through
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, proactive and resourceful
- Reliable with exceptional work ethic
- Flexibility to contribute as part of a team as well as independently
- Ability to demonstrate persistence to achieve quality
- Good-natured, positive attitude
Minimum Requirements :
- 1 year of Administrative office experience in a fast-paced environment
- Financial Industry experience preferred, but not required
- Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office Suite
- RedTail CRM experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities Include :
- Complete & process new client applications and supportive paperwork & order life and long-term insurance exams as needed
- Complete service requests pertaining to onboarding needs
- Coordinate with prospects / client to obtain signatures, needed information, and provide weekly status updates
- Follow-through with correspondences inside and outside of the company
- Input detailed notes into RedTail CRM, and keep updated with client’s current information and supporting documents
- Update internal business trackers as needed
- Follow-up on delivery requirements and notify team members
Additional Information :
Dedication to the accurate completion of and detailed follow through with all client onboarding and account paperwork is key.
Necessary information and confirmation at every level of processing may be required from multiple sources; hence the ability to discern and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment is also needed.
