Our clinical social workers understand that managing any type of illness or hospitalization is a stressful experience. As members on every medical team, the clinical social workers provide ongoing support and counseling, crisis intervention, advocacy, education, and connection to community resources.
Our clinical social workers are all licensed professionals who provide specialized expertise on the medical teams. There are over 150 clinical social workers within the Social Service Division at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital serving patients and families through their inpatient hospitalization(s) and providing ongoing services in the outpatient settings.
We are recruiting a Social Worker to float to various units at College Hill / Psychiatry . This Social Worker will float among all of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Floors including inpatient care at College Hill and the Lindner Center of Hope, as well as the partial hospitalization programs at Norwood and Green Township locations.
This position provides coverage and extra support when needed, which comes with the opportunity to meet all the various treatment teams instead of staying stagnant on one floor.
Responsibilities include completing psychosocial assessments, facilitating family meetings, conducting safety planning, and coordinating aftercare.
Work environment includes partnership with other social workers on a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule : 24 hours per week, 8AM-4 : 30PM. Must work Friday & Sunday; may work any day as the 3rd shift.
Qualifications : To be considered, candidates must have their master’s degree in social work and be a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio.
Previous experience highly desired.
Pay : $28.58-$40.75 / hour (base pay) + $5.00 / hour weekend differential

Qualifications
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Required :
- Master's degree in Social Work
- May require clinical license, certification or training
- LSW License
