Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize the logistics operations of our wholesale manufacturing company.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Responsibilities :
Plan, coordinate, and manage all logistics operations
Oversee the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods
Ensure timely delivery of products to customers
Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production to ensure availability of materials
Negotiate contracts with carriers and suppliers
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
Lead, train, and develop the logistics team
Requirements :
Proven experience as a Logistics Manager in a manufacturing or wholesale environment
Strong knowledge of logistics software and systems
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage and lead a team effectively
Strong communication and negotiation skills
5+ years experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
