The position is full time with potential for overtime. This will be a day shift M-F 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provides hands on and basic maintenance and preventative maintenance across the Caliper and Ripple CO production facilities, with the ability to be flexible around production schedules
- Responsible for understanding and adhering to a maintenance budget
- Utilizes an electronic Maintenance platform through which schedules and records PM's for maintenance and quality program needs
- Implements new PM's with the addition of new and used equipment
- Assist R&D and Process Implementation teams with set up of new and refurbished equipment
- Develops systems and drafts SOP to help other departments understand and perform simple maintenance procedures during off hours
- Maintains an inventory of replacement parts and equipment to facilitate timely repair and replacement of equipment
- 80% time spent on the manufacturing floor and facility performing maintenance duties
- 20% time spent on administrative duties related to maintenance
Qualifications :
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing facility preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude : experience in PLC systems, VFD controllers and electrical (A / C, D / C) required
- Must read and write in English
- Strong attention to detail, can follow directions as well as possess creativity to come up with out of the box solutions
- Must be able to work in a safe manner and follow Good Manufacturing Practices at all times
- An excellent communicator with strong problem solving skills
- Computer proficiency with the ability successfully update and manage an electronic maintenance
- Able to stand for 8 hours at a time and to lift 55 lbs or more on a regular basis
- Must be 21+ years of age with a current MED Badge or the ability to obtain one
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, sanitary welding, HVAC and refrigeration a plus
