Risk Management - Credit Risk Vice President

As a Portfolio Manager (PM) in Real Estate Banking (REB), you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial real estate credits and relationships.
The PM team partners with REB Coverage and Underwriting to ensure robust and accurate portfolio reporting by performing and overseeing a variety of enhanced data management and portfolio management functions.
Job Responsibilities : Portfolio Management : Enhanced, improved and in-depth portfolio monitoring; Coordination with CRE Market Surveillance team;
Interact with REB Risk Underwriting Team, Client Executives, and other internal product partners Annual Review Process : Prepare and submit annual review packages by established deadlines containing a thorough analysis of the guarantor / sponsor and related commercial real estate loans and / or other credit products.
Drive consistency and quality while monitoring timeliness Construction Draw Process : Responsible for assessing and approving construction draws in accordance with established policies / procedures Risk Rating : Continuously monitor the portfolio for risk rating appropriateness and perform off-cycle risk rating changes as needed Internal Systems Data Management : system data ownership, quality and timely updates for internal reporting, portfolio reviews, and criticized loan management Controls and Compliance : monitor loans for covenant, reporting, and regulatory compliance Special ad hoc projects as necessaryRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills : Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or real estate 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate, commercial loan management or debt financing required In-depth knowledge of underwriting methodology and experience evaluating risk across multiple product types including office, retail, industrial, and multifamily Highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team comprised of local and remote colleagues Adept at interpreting and detecting issues that impact risk rating rational Experience presenting information in an organized manner that concisely express ideas and propose effective solutions Ability to work under critical time constraints while managing multiple deadlinesPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills : Completion of formal credit training program preferred Experience with ground-up construction, value-add, and stabilized asset types Passion for commercial real estate Advanced excel skills
