Job Description
Park View Rehab Center , a long term care facility, is seeking a Business Office Manager located in Chicago, IL. This position is responsible for appropriately maintaining : insurance verifications, processing PA applications, appeals, and experience with Social Security applications as well as assisting in planning and organizing the operation of our facility's Social Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the residents are met / maintained on an individual basis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS : .
- Good organizational, planning, administrative, and managerial skills.
- Knowledge of IDPA and IDPH regulations regarding employees, and general nursing home administration.
- Be personable with residents, families, and staff in a professional and cooperative manner.
- Knowledge of relevant JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH, and IDPA regulations.
- Two years experience with insurance verification and PA applications
- Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding for the elderly
