Salary : $90k-$95k (Negotiable) plus benefits
Job Summary :
The Senior HR Generalist supports multi-state locations by providing a broad range of HR services, including day-to-day HR administration, employee onboarding / offboarding, employee relations, and leave administration.
This role serves as the point of contact for employees' and managers' questions concerning policies, practices, and general HR inquiries.
Job Responsibilities :
- Serve as the point of contact for employee relations issues and conduct thorough investigations into employee concerns.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues, including conducting thorough internal investigations.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve the department's efficiency and services.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring the completion and accuracy of hiring information, pay rates, and status changes.
- Process new hires and terminations by reviewing approved field submissions.
- Provide HR support on acquisitions related to onboarding and integration of employees.
- Administer and manage all aspects of employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA, and personal leaves.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and coordinate with Safety on Workers Comp leaves.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a closely related field.
- SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
- A minimum of five years of Human Resources experience with a substantial focus on employee relations, conducting internal investigations, and leave administration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and possess strong data analytical capabilities for effective data management and report generation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws, including an understanding of California employment law.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple, diverse tasks with minimal supervision.
