Product Manager
This position is onsite at the Corporate Headquarters located in Kenosha, WI.

Maintain full product line responsibility for assigned product portfolio. Gather and prioritize product (emphasis on Torque) and customer requirements in order to define the product vision, and plan and execute appropriately throughout the product lifecycle. Coordinate with engineering, field sales, marketing, and other support groups to ensure revenue goals and customer requirements are met. Leverage in-depth experience and knowledge to ensure that each product in the assigned portfolio is aligned with the organization's overall strategy and goals.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with other involved parties (such as, but not limited to, engineering, supply chain, operations, etc.) to facilitate all aspects of product development in order to guide product through product design cycle to completion within established timeline and financial parameters
Oversee all product management and product life cycle functions for assigned product line, including product planning, pricing, packaging, sales tracking, forecasts and trends, establishing appropriate inventory levels
Lead efforts to identify new and innovative products to meet the needs of our customers, while positioning assigned product line for continued growth and profitability
Provide technical and directional content for product-related training and promotional programs
Actively support and partner with the Industrial training team on programs and distance learning
Lead long-range planning for assigned product line, working with the sales field, marketing, and other involved parties
Create and communicate metrics for assigned product categories and initiatives
Collaborate with other groups including marketing, sales management, and suppliers to optimize product line profitability
Monitor inventory levels to ensure the success of product launches and adherence to established financial targets
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred; business or related field experience acceptable
Minimum of 5 - 7 years of demonstrated success in product development and management or engineering
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of technical experience in mechanical and / or electrical engineering, or related field
Previous experience with torque tools and torque measurement systems preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present effectively to all levels both inside and outside the organization
Solid problem solving and analytical skills with demonstrated decision-making and negotiation skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong project management and time management capabilities
Past outside sales experience or experience with hand tools in the industrial tool market preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products, especially Excel and PowerPoint; basic understanding of database management and ERP and other business systems preferred
Up to 25% travel may be required (may include overnight stays)
