The Driver role is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of goods in support of Altors mission to protect people, products, and the environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction within our transport services

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to complete daily deliveries, ensuring compliance with D.O.T. regulations and ALTOR safety standards.
• Represent ALTOR professionally with a polite, positive attitude when interacting with customers and team members.
• Accurately manage shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), pick sheets, and other required paperwork.
• Secure all loads properly and operate vehicles using hands-free devices in accordance with safety protocols.
• Use handheld scanners to retrieve, stage, load, and unload products according to layout specifications and warehouse procedures.
• Maneuver trucks within the yard, assist with docking, and inspect containers as needed.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and participate in monthly inventory of onsite tractors and trailers.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and tools are available.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• All other duties as assigned.
