DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The County Social Services Aide 1 / Decision Support Center Peer Specialist will be teaching and assisting consumers in developing and writing goals and developing a treatment plan for their psychiatry appointment.
Work includes teaching and assisting consumers to access recovery resources related to their individual service plan. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other mental health staff to facilitate consumer's goal attainment, and model effective coping techniques and self-help strategies.
Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Part-time employment, Monday - Friday.
- Work hours will vary.
- Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :
- Graduation from high school; or
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Other Requirements :

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
