What You'll Do
A typical day at My Spot is dynamic and fulfilling, requiring empathy, analytical skills, and a commitment to improving children's lives.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Provide direct therapy services to patients as directed by the supervising speech-language pathologist.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and responses to therapy sessions, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Instruct patients and their families in exercises and techniques they can practice at home to reinforce therapy goals.
- Collaborate effectively with speech-language pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
What You'll Need
Active Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license in the state of Texas.
