About The Position
Job Title : Locum Tenens Neurosurgeon Job Specialty : Neurosurgery Job Duration : December 27 January 4 Shift : 24-hour call (7 am - 7 am) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Completion of Neurosurgical residency License : Active Colorado license required Certifications : Board Certified in Neurological Surgery Must-Have : Availability during the specified dates- Clean malpractice / background check- Commitment to specified shifts Job Description : Provide coverage over the holiday period for neurosurgery needs.
- Manage surgical traumas involving cranial and spine procedures.- Work within inpatient and emergency room settings.- Use EMR / EPIC systems for documentation.
- Support the hospital's trauma team and collaborate with two local neurosurgeons for follow-up.- Handle both cranial and spinal cases, including trauma.
- No endovascular requirements as covered by a local provider.- Understand that hospital volume may vary, with no set number of expected cases.
- Expect to work without additional APP support.This role involves hands-on surgical trauma management and requires readiness to engage in various neurosurgical cases within an established team setting.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-stress and dynamic environment.
