DESCRIPTION

Performs maintenance activities on Cummins Inc. aircraft to assure they are airworthy with minimum out-of-commission time.

Performs immediate repairs to each type of aircraft, engines, and equipment if aircraft airworthiness is affected; travels to other stations to repair company

aircraft or engines; travels to major overhaul repair centers to provide job direction and assist or monitor repairs / modifications during major or special

inspections; services aircraft with proper fuel, oil, hydraulic fluid and other approved fluids; services nitrogen and oxygen compressed gas systems.

Performs minor repairs to aircraft, engines, and equipment when noted by pilots or found during routine inspections; completes aircraft post-flight inspections

upon aircrafts return to home base; tows aircraft, performs cleaning operations; performs ground power checks or engines to assure airworthiness.

Maintains proper records of all maintenance activities; maintains administrative records on Computerized Aircraft Maintenance Program (CAMP), CMP and

FlightDocs (computer tracking programs).

Purchases parts, supplies, fuel, and equipment cost effectively; performs stockroom administrative duties relating to shipping and receiving functions.

Maintains fuel storage facility and related equipment and assures quality control of bulk fuel delivery; maintains hanger facility.

Keeps Aircraft Maintenance Manager informed of potential problems areas such as personnel, aircraft, facility, fuel storage, and equipment.

Facilitates prompt aircraft arrival and departure by assisting flight crew with passenger baggage and restocking aircraft;

acts as flight technician when required

on domestic and overseas flights.

Possesses a working knowledge of and applies FARs, OSHA, and fire prevention codes, airport regulations and safe working practices.

Understands and applies appropriate company and department rules and guidelines to work.

Works with and trains apprentices and technicians.

Interfaces with customers, suppliers, engineers, and other functions.

Coordinates programs including planning, scheduling, ordering, and tracking.

Participates in the maintenance of quality procedures.

Leads and participate in improvement projects.

Develops and gives presentations to customers and suppliers.

Knows and complies with all safety policies and procedures.

Demonstrates confidentiality as required.

Participates in self- and team-audits and associated corrective action.

Performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to get the job done.

Performs Maintenance activities on Cummins Inc. aircrafts to assure these are in airworthy condition.

Key Responsibilities :

Performs immediate repairs to each type of aircraft, engines, and equipment if aircraft airworthiness is affected. Performs minor repairs to aircraft, engines, and equipment when noted by pilots or found during routine inspections.

Completes aircraft post-flight inspections upon aircrafts return to home base to assure airworthiness. Fuels and moves aircraft as needed.

Maintains proper records of all maintenance activities and updates the computerized aircraft tracking program. Purchases parts, supplies, fuel, and equipment cost effectively.

Travels to major overhaul repair centers to provide job direction and assists or monitors. repairs / modifications during major or special inspections.

Facilitates prompt aircraft arrival and departure by assisting flight crew with passenger baggage. Maintains fuel storage facility and related equipment to assure quality control of bulk fuel delivery.

Completes Federal Aviation Administration Part 125 manual review as required by company manuals. Maintains Federal Aviation Administration Inspection Authorization requirements.

Completes recurrent aircraft and department training as scheduled.

Detailed Aircraft Inspection - Completes systematic examinations, checks and testing of aircraft using appropriate methodologies and in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, in order to ensure airworthiness and ability to dispatch aircraft when needed.

Education, Licenses, Certifications :

Active Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Power plant license per Federal Aviation Regulation

Inspection Authorization License within one year of hire date per Federal Aviation Regulation

Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required (FAR

Associates degree from an accredited program in Aviation Technology or similar degree preferred. Inspection Authorization License preferred;

required within one year of hire date (FAR

Must be qualified to operate aircraft, engines and APU

Must be First Aid / CPR / AED qualified

Must be able to operate a fire extinguisher

Experience :

Two years of experience on light to heavy corporate jet aircraft.

One year experience on advanced aircraft technology (flight management systems, On Board maintenance system)

At least two years of experience on light to heavy corporate jet aircraft required (for example, Hawker, Dornier, Gulfstream).

At least five years of experience on light to heavy corporate jet aircraft preferred (for example, Hawker, Dornier, Gulfstream).

At least one year of experience within the past 3 years of advanced aircraft technology required (FMS, EFIS, and RVSM)

QUALIFICATIONS

Must hold an ACTIVE Airframe and Powerplant License per FAR

CMP / CAMP experience preferred but not required

Ability to lift 70lbs

Gulfstream G280 experience preferred but not required

Embraer 134 / 145 experience preferred but not required

Ability to hold a US passport

Ability to work overtime during the week and or weekend as needed

Microsoft Word and Excel experience

Max Salary $94640
