Clinic Information :
- This position is based in Northwest, Ohio
- This clinic is equipped with Varian equipment.
- This facility uses Aria / Eclipse Treatment planning systems.
- This clinic has an incredibly welcoming team
- This role will be fully supported by the OMPC team in Ohio for PTO coverage and increased patient loads
What You’ll Do
Perform weekly and monthly radiation measurements, as well as yearly calibration on all treatment units.Monitor equipment in the Radiation Oncology Department to ensure that it is functioning correctly and safely.Maintain regulatory agency records and reports.Analyze alternative treatment plans and supervise dosimetry treatment planning functions.Implement assessment / treatment and care based on the developmental stages of the patient.Perform additional duties, as neededRequired Skills :

Master’s Degree and / or PhD in Medical Physics.A board certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics, or board eligibility as demonstrated by graduation from a CAMPEP accredited residency in therapy physics.2+ years of clinical Therapy Medical Physics experience preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to interpret regulations.A willingness to go “above and beyond” for clients and fellow colleagues.Demonstrate initiative, organization, and ownership of daily tasks and projects.Ability to problem solve by seeking, developing, and implementing viable solutions.Benefits
