Job Summary :
Under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist, provides evaluation and treatment for communication disorders.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Provides assessment and treatment of communication disorders in the pediatric populations. Administers diagnostic tests and implements appropriate treatments.
- Advises physicians and patients of test results.
- Kaiser Permanente conducts compensation reviews of positions on a routine basis. At any time, Kaiser Permanente reserves the right to reevaluate and change job descriptions, or to change such positions from salaried to hourly pay status.
Such changes are generally implemented only after notice is given to affected employees.
Secondary Functions :
Pediatric outpatient care.
Basic Qualifications : Experience
N / A (This is a 9-12 month internship program).
Education
Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology required by date of hire.
License, Certification, Registration
- Speech-Language Pathology Required Professional Experience License - Temporary (California) required at hire
- National Provider Identifier required at hire
- Basic Life Support required at hire
