Overview of the Accounting Clerk role :
- Reconciling and balancing accounts
- Receiving and recording vouchers, cash, and checks
- Checking for accuracy in reports, figures, and postings
- Communicating with vendors in a timely and professional manner regarding inquiries, invoicing, and discrepancies
- Administrative work includes general filing and data entry when necessary
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Clerk :
- Minimum two years of accounting clerk (or similar) experience!
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; experience with a major ERP
- Strong attention to detail, very accurate data entry skills
Salary : $39,450 - $49,450 depending on experience
