will also include month end close monitoring, metrics reporting, and act as our divisional billing liaison serving as the primary point of contact for billing issues.
This role will have direct responsibility for measuring financial performance results for the given businesses, as well as identifying and explaining any emerging trends that impact the ability to achieve targeted results.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Produce weekly updates to premium production forecasts based on emerging trends and information gathered from business leaders
- Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting and results analysis for premium production and premium-related production metrics.
- Build annual plan andplete the annual update of the 5-year Strategic Plan based on information gathered from business leaders.
- Create insightful management reports in order to present results clearly on a timely basis, allowing business leaders to make informed decisions.
- Identify, analyze, solveplex problems / issues quickly and efficiently; distill and articulate succinct problem resolutions.
- Ensure accuracy and transparency of data at a detailed level.
- Maintain and improve data element mappings and modeling calculations
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and overall improvement
- Liaise with Underwriting, Actuarial, Reinsurance, Operations, IT, Analytics, and Claims (and possibly others) to resolve issues and improve data quality.
- Assist in daily data refreshes - using tools like Cognos, Qlik Sense, Python, SQL, MS Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot), MS Access.
- Primary point of contact for billing inquiries / issues for both underwriting and CSSC. Facilitate the timely identification and resolution of legacy and current reconciling items.
Prepare reconciliations and research out-of-balances by running queries, analyzing results, andmunicating with business partners to drive corrective actions to minimize cancellations due to non-payment of premium and improvemunications with brokers and clients.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting / Finance / Business or other related fields of study
- CPA or MBA preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience in an accounting or financial analysis role, or experience with a Public Accounting firm in an auditing role
- Insurance industry experience preferred, with in-depth knowledge of Insurance Financials
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make solid rmendations
- Ability to understand relationships and interactions between financial data and business results
- Proficiency in end-user applications (, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience with TM1 and with cubes and relation-based databases (Hyperion, Cognos, Essbase, Access, SQL, SAS), Tracker, Oracle Peoplesoft, or other general ledger applications.
- Experience in managing large amounts of data using Access, Python, Qlik, etc. is desirable.
- Excellent written and oralmunication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability tomunicate and manage well at all levels of the organization, while building positive relationships
- Experience with Accident & Health Supplemental Insurance and Reinsurance
- Must be results-oriented, demonstrated integrity and dedication, professional attitude, and demeanor
- Preferred location is Philadelphia or Whitehouse Station office
