Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Telecom Operator, you will organize and direct incoming calls through the PBX console in a most expedient and professional manner.

The Operator provides exceptional communication skills and plays a vital role in daily communication. The Telecom Operator will operate a console telephone switchboard in order to relay incoming, outgoing and inter-facility calls, providing information to callers as appropriate.

Additional duties will include performing various hospital communication duties such as overhead paging, beeper paging, monitoring alarms, gas levels and fire alarms, and alerting personnel of impending disasters, fires and codes notifying appropriate personnel as required.

What qualifications you will need :

• You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Operator and / or customer service experience is preferred
