Position Overview
The California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) User Experience (UX) and Information Design team is currently seeking a Senior UX Designer to help define and drive the future of CalPERS UX / UI digital products and align to CalPERS mission.
You will identify and set strategy, envision complex systems, and inspire teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
In this role, you will apply your passion for brand, craft, and design fidelity to guide research and design processes, mentor talented members of the team, and collaborate with stakeholders to create innovative experiences across the UX team portfolio.
You will be a great design team leader, systems-level design thinker and visionary, with an outstanding intuition who will provide guidance for a team of UX designers and researchers.
You will have a sense for clean design and be committed to creating elegantly simple user experiences from otherwise complex workflows.
You will also take time to understand the performance side of design, as well as the business aspects of the products.
