Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a BIM Technician to join our office in Dallas, TX.

As a BIM Technician at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to :

• Create, modify, validate, and prepare detailed 2D and 3D construction drawings to meet the project's expectations.
• Creates the detailed product drawings required for manufacturing.
• Creates field install drawings for Operations team.
• Has basic understanding of how to read and navigate Blueprint drawings.
• Provides input to the project dashboard / tracking system.
• Collaborates with the Operations team and BIM support lead to insure that detailing and installation practices utilize the most efficient and effective solution.
• Collaborates with the Operations team and BIM support lead to review, evaluate, and maintain VDC deliverables.
• Makes positive project outcomes measured in both labor efficiency and quality.
• Manages the workflow of all tasks assigned.
• Provides feedback to BIM lead and Supervisor to determine areas, systems, or assemblies that can be manufactured to improve efficiency during field installations.
• Completes record drawings at the end of the project.
• Able to work on different types of construction projects including but not limited to : commercial, mission critical, healthcare, industrial, and high rise.
• Understands who their customer is, as it relates to project support.
• Provides accurate timeline of efforts regarding all work packs to BIM project lead and / or Supervisor.
• Able to identify and communicate potential installation clashes with other trades.
• Able to read and understand submittals for physical equipment sizing and / or layout during modeling.
