Job Description :
ResEcon is looking for an Office Manager to join our team! The Office Manager will be the first point of contact for our firm.
The Office Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing administrative duties in the office and ensuring that the office operates efficiently and smoothly.
The Office Manager is part of the Administrative Team and will work closely with our interns, HR, IT, Operations, and Finance and Accounting, as well as provide administrative support to the company.
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Office Manager to be based onsite in our Los Angeles, CA office.
Salary Scale :
The Office Manager is paid an annual salary between $85,000 and $115,000, subject to all required deductions and withholdings, and not including the value of benefits under any ResEcon-maintained benefit plans.
The Office Manager position is classified as exempt from overtime pay requirements under applicable federal and state law.
The Office Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure efficient operations
- Supervise and coordinate the internship program
- Supervise the Administrative Assistant and provide support, including overflow assistance, to the Administrative Assistant and administrative staff in other offices
- Coordinate office meetings, activities, and companywide events
- Manage office budget, payment and invoices for services rendered
- Assist with scheduling meetings and conference room reservations and managing the office calendar
- Perform administrative duties that include booking travel / hotel arrangements, coordinate with vendors, input of expense reports, coordinate weekly / monthly office and offsite breakfasts, lunches, and other catering requests
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding and orientation / training of employees
- Assist in setting up employees, vendors, and visitors' access in the building management and parking office
- Responsible for the monthly ordering and maintenance of all office supplies, company branded gifts, inventory, and groceries
- Assist with office layout planning and office moves, and with coordinating and assisting with IT infrastructure
- Coordinate with building and parking office requirements and correspondence as necessary, including scheduling training, information sessions, and disseminating notices
- Provide administrative support as necessary to billable personnel, including scheduling practice area meetings, events, research, creating reports, etc.
- Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and design and implement new systems
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned and as needed

- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Google products
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in an office management or comparable role in a professional setting
- Experience in a legal, litigation or consulting environment is a plus
- Experience with Salesforce and other software a plus
