Responsibilities
- Manage and execute aircrew training within the MQ-9 enterprise. Manage funding, travel, and student allocations to fulfill requirements within the RPA training community.
- Review, coordinate, and prepare RPA instruction and policy (Air Force Instruction (AFI) 11-2 MQ-9V 1-3 and Air Force Tactics, Technics and Procedures (AFTTP) 3-1 Technical Orders) changes and rewrites in coordination with Wing and Staff standardization and evaluation functions
- Review, coordinate, and prepare Ready Aircrew Program (RAP) tasking messages and reports.
- Review, coordinate, and prepare Realistic Training Review Board (RTRB) briefings, and publish pre- and post-RTRB products semi-annually.
- Perform duties as operations representative for Medium Altitude Long Endurance Tactical-Joint Systems Integration Laboratory (MALET-JSIL Aircrew Trainer (MJAT) and Distributed Missions Operation (DMO) integration.
Develop DMO Strategy and brief A3M leadership.
- Review, coordinate, and prepare mishap review panel brief and semi-annual Air Force Safety Automated System (AFSAS) review for Commander, ACC (COMACC).
- Review, coordinate, and prepare waiver packages required for deviation from regulations and AFIs.
- Provide support for the development and staffing of Staff packages, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Concept of Employment (CONEMP), Enabling Concepts, Roadmaps, and Contingency Plans;
perform Major Weapons System (MWS) Functional Area Manager (FAM) duties.
Manage and coordinate MQ-9 exercises as required.
Qualifications
- Must possess an Active TS / SCI Clearance
- Must possess bachelor’s degree
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of NAF or higher staff experience managing complex operational aviation programs
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience managing MQ-1 or MQ-9 related operations programs
- Must have a minimum of 6 years of operational mission experience in DoD aircraft performing duties as rated aircrew
