About The Position
Position : RN Operating Room
Pre / PACU Nurse position)
Location : Sitka, AK 99835
Shift : Day 5x8-Hours (Days with some night and weekend call required)
Duration : 13 Weeks with possible extensions
Start Date : 11 / 11 / 2024

Duties :
- This position is located within the Operating Room of SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium.
- We handle all types of elective and emergency cases performed, including abdominal, thoracic, Urology, ENT, Plastic, Orthopedics, Vascular and OB / GYN.
- Multi-tasks efficiently and ensures the surgical cases proceed throughout the day in a timely manner.
- Utilizes after-hour call services, to staff the Operating Rooms (OR), for nights, holidays and weekends.

Job Requirements
- 3 years of Operating Room RN experience
- Experience in Critical Access Hospital and / or Rural Operating Rooms strongly preferred.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS Certification
- AK state RN license
- Must have Covid Vaccine (including 1 booster) and Flu Vaccine
