Advocate Health is seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to lead our Emergency Medicine Department at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Chicago, IL.
Position Overview : As the Department Chair, you will have comprehensive support from a dedicated Service Line and system resources, enabling you to lead effectively in a high-acuity, high-volume environment.
In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for aligning department operations with Advocate Healths system goals, culture, and values.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the Emergency Medicine Department at Advocate Christ Medical Center.
- Collaborate closely with the service line team to ensure departmental alignment with broader system objectives.
- Work alongside residency program leaders, primary care, and other specialties to enhance collaboration and patient care.
- Engage and inspire your team, shaping the next generation of Emergency Medicine Physicians.
Qualifications :
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a medium to large Emergency Medicine Department.
- Strong knowledge of Emergency Medicine operations and academic program experience.
- Proven ability to manage complexity and drive improvements in patient care and departmental operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
