Cylinder Processor 1
How will you CONTRIBUTE
and GROW?A Cylinder Processor I will be responsible for loading and unloading high-pressure and liquid cylinders while assisting the Maintenance Team by visually inspecting and performing general maintenance on cylinder inventory.
This is an entry level position with the opportunity for advancement into higher level maintenance positions through training and step progressions.

JOB DUTIES AND INFORMATION
WORK SCHEDULE : Monday - Friday 10 am to 6 : 30 pm
Inspects cylinders before filling, following standard procedures required by the government, Airgas, and distributor standards.
Understands the hazards of various gasses, sizes, and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks.
Safely operates a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse / material-handling equipment.
Examines returned cylinders for surface defects, dents, cracks, burns and performs minor maintenance of equipment and inspection of cylinders before filling.
Segregates out test cylinders and any defective cylinders.
Removes old labels, cleans cylinders.
Assist with inventory, general housekeeping and other shop tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to become forklift certified
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
Strong level of attention to detail.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
