Account Manager (Inside Sales)
Belt Power is looking for an Account Manager to be based out of Portland, Phoenix, or Seattle.

Job Summary :
The Account Manager (Inside Sales) at Belt Power, LLC., will be responsible for working alongside the Outside Sales Team and perform a variety of duties to ensure our customers’ satisfaction, and will be the liaisons between the Outside Sales Team and Production Team to meet the customers delivery schedules and ensure complete customer understanding of our products and services.
Responsibilities Include :
- Meets and exceeds all customer expectations.
- Handles customer requests with a sense of urgency.
- Builds and maintains customer and vendor relationships.
- Maintains and promotes strong customer relationships both internally and externally.
- Effectively communicates / engages with internal and external customers.
- Serves as the key contact for any issues from the quoting to invoicing.
- Accurately processes quotes, orders, returns, and purchasing via phone, fax, email, and the use of the ERP system. Processing these transactions may be via communication directly with the customer and in conjunction with outside sales representatives.
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on production and delivery schedules.
- Manages multiple priorities.
- Reviews open order reports daily, ensuring customer expectations are being met.
- Issues and follows up on purchase orders to vendors.
- Follows through on each transaction to completion.
- Keeps up to date with new product, inventory, market conditions, and industry trends.
- Ensures that all efforts are in line with the business goals and objectives.
- Works closely with outside sales, operations, and accounting teams.
- Communicates with outside sales on potential leads and opportunities from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged leads, dealer resellers, business directories, website, and other sources.
- Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
- Provides new customer data and current data to the Accounts Receivable Department.
- Direct all pricing questions up to $3,000 to the Senior Inside Sales Coordinator and over $3,000 to Vice President of Sales copying other associates as directed by management.
- Utilize upselling sales techniques whenever and wherever possible.
- Complete individual quarterly MBO’s
- Represents Belt Power in a professional manner at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands :
The Account Manager (Inside Sales) may lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and will require manual dexterity and strength in arms and feet to manipulate equipment controls.
Tools, and other items used to make adjustments and / or minor maintenance. Will use hands, arms, back, and shoulders to handle, installs, position, move items, and manipulate other objects.
Could be in a sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting position for long periods of time.
Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this position, the Account Manager (Inside Sales) will be regularly exposed to working near moving and mechanical parts and equipment.
The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work :
This is a full-time position in office, shop, and at the customer site. Typical workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Frequent overtime hours, and weekend work may be required.
Pay Range : $24.03 - $28.85
