About The Position

Job Title : Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Shift : 11 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM

Hours per Shift : 8

Experience : 2+ years required

License : Michigan license verification required for nurses

Certifications : ARRT, BLS (AHA)

Must-Have : OR experience, Experience with X-ray, Willing to obtain BLS certification prior to start

Description :

Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures.

Provides straightforward explanations and instructions to foster comfort and confidence in patients.

Ensures the needs of individual patients are met.

Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including x-ray.

Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to capture images as requested by a physician.

Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.

Notifies the physician on duty of the results.

Participates in a rotation of on-call duties which includes weekdays and weekends.

Weekends are required as part of the schedule.
