Technical Program Manager, Infrastructure Engineering PMO

The infrastructure team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyper-scale datacenters, managing the life cycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions, and developing various infrastructure services and making sure they are scalable and are reliable.

Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Office (PMO) professional to oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of Edge PoP lifecycle projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network infrastructure, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of managing complex technical projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities : 1. Project Planning : - Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation for Edge PoP build and migration projects globally.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including capacity planning, network engineering and operations, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

2. Stakeholder Management : - Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications. - Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide regular updates to senior management and other key stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

3. Execution and Monitoring : - Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.

Implement project management best practices and methodologies to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of projects.

4. Risk & Compliance Management : - Identify potential risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and adjust plans as necessary to address emerging challenges.5. Documentation and Reporting : - Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs.
  • Prepare and present project reports and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.6. Continuous Improvement : - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the PMO function.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in project management and network infrastructure.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications : - 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on network infrastructure or edge computing.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects from initiation to completion.- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications : - Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in project management software (JIRA).- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
