Account Manager
Kent, WA (3 days a week in-office)
Our client, a leading outdoor sporting goods design and manufacturing company based in the PNW, is seeking to add an Account Manager to their team.
The Account Manager will drive sales by engaging with dealers, analyzing data, and making strategic recommendations. Building robust connections with dealers is crucial, as is ensuring successful merchandising and addressing customer concerns promptly.
The Account Manager delivers customer feedback to internal teams, participates in trade exhibitions, trains retail employees, and collaborates with internal teams.
The successful candidate will be excited about spending time outdoors!
Account Manager Responsibilities :
- Leverage analytics to drive sales growth, provide recommendations, monitor KPIs, optimize processes, generate and submit orders, and assess sales trends.
- Formulate sales strategies, craft pitches, guide new dealers through onboarding, and conduct market research.
- Create go-to-market strategies, use forecasting tools, and implement incentive programs.
- Analyze profit and loss statements, offer financial insights, and explore new customer and business opportunities.
- Plan and execute participation in industry trade shows and events, networking with professionals to build relationships and explore opportunities.
- Provide quotes for prospective customers and participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure customer satisfaction and share market insights.
- Research and evaluate new markets and sales channels, conducting competitive analysis to understand market positioning and trends.
- Conduct store visits to ensure merchandising compliance, provide quotes, write suggested orders, and schedule check-ins with dealers to discuss performance and updates.
- Build strong relationships through personalized service and analyze customer feedback to share insights with product development, marketing, and sales teams.
Account Manager Qualifications :
- 3-5 sales experience working with resellers.
- Prior retail sales experience highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Experience or interest in the outdoors industry required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and build customer relationships.

Compensation : $80-95K + 10% commission
