Responsibilities

  • Implement all facets of electrical design, including :
  • Lighting and lighting controls
  • Normal and standby / emergency power systems
  • One-line / riser diagrams, arc flash analysis, and short-circuit studies
  • Utility coordination and equipment selection
  • Comprehensive electrical system design and layout
  • Field investigation and observation
  • Construction administration

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, E.I.T. / P.E. Registration (preferred)
  • 6+ years of project experience (10+ years for non-degreed)
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in major electrical systems and industry-related codes, standards, and guidelines
  • Active participation in industry-related organizations for ongoing development
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), SKM or EasyPower, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

Education Requirements Credential Category

Professional Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) Registration preferred

Experience Requirements

  • 6+ years of project experience in electrical engineering (10+ years for non-degreed)
  • Demonstrated experience in all major electrical systems and relevant industry standards
