Senior Water Resources/H&H Engineer

STV has an immediate career opportunity for an experienced Senior Water Resources H&H Engineer to join our Design Team in our Houston, TX location .

Key responsibilities will include design and review of all phases of water resource aspects for our various projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Licensed PE in Texas and CFM preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, or related surface water engineering.
• Hydrologic / hydraulic modeling experience in both steady and unsteady modeling, 1D and 2D modeling.
• Experience with the following is preferred : HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-1, HEC-2, InfoWorks, XPSWMM 1D & 2D, MIKE Flood, ArcGIS 9.

3 or later, HEC-GeoRAS, HEC-GeoHMS, and ArcHydro.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and delivery client presentations.
• Relationship with local / regional clients and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and directs H&H engineering analysis and design on multiple projects with many complex features.
• Interacts with project clients.
• Responsible for developing and mentoring less experienced staff.
• Performs hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, prepares hydrologic and hydraulic models, evaluates results, and summarizes results and recommendations to produce drainage impact studies, conveyance analysis, storage analysis, and other drainage improvements.
• Coordinates production and / or provides QA / QC to ensure technical consistency and inclusion of appropriate documentation.
• Provides technical input / review of project deliverables.
• Prepares scope, budgets and proposals.
• Responsible for financial tracking and invoicing.

Compensation Range :

$128,656.00 - $171,541.00
