We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Maintenance Tech to join our team. As an Industrial Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all industrial equipment and systems within our facility.
Your main goal will be to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
In this role, you will be expected to troubleshoot and repair machinery, perform preventative maintenance tasks, and conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues.
Additionally, you will collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to improve equipment performance and make suggestions for process optimization.
The successful candidate for this position must have a strong mechanical aptitude, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.
You should also have a solid understanding of industrial equipment and systems, as well as experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are also essential.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct regular inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks to identify and address issues before they lead to breakdowns
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair and replacement parts
- Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to develop and implement strategies for improving equipment performance and productivity
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems
- Keep abreast of industry trends and developments to ensure the application of best practices in industrial maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools
- Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
