Wisoman Foods is a manufacturing company specializing in Tortilla and Naan Products. We are seeking a Business Development Representative that will create and implement new strategies to expand our business and client relationships.
Essential Responsibilities
- Research the latest in the business industry and create new opportunities to expand business
- Maintaining a sales call balance of new business opportunities along with current business retention and penetration
- Develop new sales areas and improve sales through various methods
- Responsible for maintaining, developing, and growing business within a large and diverse customer base
- Maintaining a consistent touchpoint cycle within assigned geography along with a daily account of activities and progress for every call
- Managing new customer and distribution needs
- Interface with cross-functional employees including Production Operations, Quality Assurance, Sales and Marketing.
- Responsible for representing our flatbread portfolio at Food & Trade Shows and distributor sales and training meetings
- Responsible for traveling to and from client sites
- Collaborate with sales and design team to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals
- Train junior salespeople to improve sales goals and meet expectations
- Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive
Requirements
- Experienced as a leader in sales,
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Prospecting and Negotiation Skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM Software
- Ability to manage a large geographical area
- Can sell concepts as well as solutions
