About The Position
Assignment Length : 13 weeks
Shift Details : Day Shift, 7 : 00am - 5 : 30pm, 4x10, 40 hrs a week
Required Certifications : RN, ACLS, BLS, RCIS or any procedural / cardiology-centered certification
Scrub Attire : Surgical Scrubs (provided by unit)
Floating Requirements : Float as needed, must arrive in less than 30 minutes when called in
EMR Used : MacLab and Meditech
Relevant Skills : Vascular IR procedural experience, Knowledge of Cath Lab / IR protocols and procedures, Neuro-interventional experience, High-level communication skills
Unit Size : 5 Labs
Nurse-to-Patient Ratios : 1 : 4 Ratio in holding, depending on acuity
Call Requirements : Monthly call shift burden : goal
Typical Procedures Performed : Full scope of Interventional radiology procedures, including structural (TAVR, Mitra Clip), Carotid stenting, Peripheral arterial cases, Lumbar punctures
