Job Description
CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERINTENDENT (Permanent)
Our client, an established and well-known construction firm in WNY, is looking to hire a Construction Site Superintendent to join their growing team.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee onsite operations for complex construction projects
- Create & maintain positive working relationships with subcontractors and crew members to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
- Ensure proper measures are carried out to maintain safety and quality expectations
- Travel to various job sites—mostly within NYS—to manage daily activities
- Coordinate crews, material procurement, equipment, etc. according to project’s schedule
- Ensure all project documentation / reports are up to date, accurate, and appropriately reflect each project’s progression
- Communicate any delays with senior leadership to ensure appropriate adjustments are made to schedules, budgets, and deadlines
- Collaborate with various internal and external team members to ensure plans are executed efficiently
- Remain up to date on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance is maintained at all times
- Work well in a team environment, as well as independently
- Other duties as assigned / as necessary
