Hood Construction is a well-established commercial general contractor based in Columbia, SC. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our construction projects from start to finish. This role is essential to the success of our projects and requires a professional who can manage multiple high-profile, complex projects while maintaining client relationships and ensuring the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project goals are met
- Lead project teams, ensuring work is completed on time, within scope, and on budget
- Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to leadership
- Manage project risks, resolve conflicts, and implement solutions proactively
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 7+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex construction projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management software and tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
