• Position Summary
• Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions available in the Nursing Department.
• Days / Hours
• Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
• Start Date
• Position available on or after September 9, 2024, and ending on or before May 31, 2025. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
• Job Description / Duties
• Duties include but are not limited to :
• Assist in portraying sick and afflicted patients for student nurse training.
• Memorize script, scenario, and patient details for simulated nurse training.
• Assist in supporting Simulation Director, Simulation Operations Specialist, and Nursing faculty.

Other duties as assigned.

• Qualifications
• Preferred Qualifications :
• Previous acting experience.
• Previous simulated patient acting experience.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a variety of faculty and students.
• Demonstrates the ability to take direction from Nursing faculty and staff.

Required Qualifications :

• Undergraduate students must be registered / enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall / Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall / Spring units.
• Salary Range
• $17.00 per hour.
