A biopharma company in Massachusetts is looking to add a new Senior Director / Head of Human Resource Systems to their team.
In this role, the Senior Director / Head of Human Resource Systems will be responsible for acting as a key member of highly collaborative HR and corporate teams with responsibility for Human Resource management systems, data and reporting.
Responsibilities :
The Senior Director / Head of Human Resource Systems will :
- Own and develop the enterprise HR systems strategy in context of company-wide 5 year IT / IS plan
- Develop strategic system roadmaps, and building out system strategy and timelines that align with business goals and needs
- Draft and contribute to RFPs, RFIs, scoring and evaluating relevant systems in cross functional teams
- Lead and / or partner with other functions to prepare and execute implementation plans
- Develop and maintain relevant Standard Operating Procedures and other policies and procedures related to relevant data and systems while ensuring accurate data flows within systems
- Collaborate with IT and Finance on SOX compliance activities and with IT and Quality for 21-CFR-Part 11 compliance activities
- Provide expert counsel to assigned departments in the US and Canada for all HR programs
- Coach and ensure HR programs are optimally used by managers and employees to positively impact employee attraction, orientation, engagement, performance, development and retention
- Plan and manage budget proposals and approved budget
- Recruit, lead, direct, develop, coach and evaluate direct reports
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications :
- 15+ years of experience in progressive HR Management systems and / or HR
- Strong experience and background of at least 5 years in a Life Science and / or Pharmaceutical company
- Knowledge of and experience with US Employment, Privacy, Human Rights and Immigration laws
- Excellent leadership skills with influencing, conflict resolution and collaboration skills; ability to build credibility and trust inside and outside of the Company
- Highly processed-oriented, proactive, with a strong track record of delivering high quality results
- Strong abstract reasoning and critical thinking skills
- Great interpersonal skills
