About The Position
- Weekly Pay Range - $1855 To $2061Job Title : Surgical Services TechnicianJob Specialty : OR Tech / Surgical TechJob Duration : 10 weeksShift : Day 4x10-Hour (11 : 00 - 21 : 30)Guaranteed Hours : Not providedExperience : Minimum of 2 years as a surgical tech;
- large hospital experience (Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience preferred)License : Graduated from an accredited (CAAHEP) surgical technologist school or equivalent military training or 10+ years of experience as a Surgery TechnicianCertifications : BLS (AHA) certificationMust-Have : Strong Ortho experience;
General / Robotics experience preferredJob Description : - Prepare the room and gather supplies needed for surgical procedures.
- Deliver instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intra-operatively.- Function as a second assistant to the surgeon, if required.
- Assist in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies, and instruments post-operatively.- Work in a fast-paced, invigorating environment with high complexity and acuity.
- Rotate through shifts, including working every other holiday.- Participate in on-call duties as discussed with the manager (usually 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month).
- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records.- Prior travel experience preferred.Candidates must have strong scrub experience and must be willing to work in a high-acuity, multi-service line operating room environment.
