Compensation and Schedule :
- Compensation : $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
- Work Hours : Monday through Thursday, 6 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM; Friday, 6 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM
- Work Flexibility : Full-time, on-site
- Employment Type : Temp-to-Hire
Role Overview : The CNC Operator will :
- Organize cut files and materials to cut and label parts for assembly according to the production schedule and department goals.
- Use various measuring tools to ensure the accuracy of measurements and completed products.
- Monitor machine operations, make adjustments as needed, and conduct periodic maintenance.
- Utilize various hand and power tools to assist in the production process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all safety standards and protocols are followed.
- Communicate with Shop Foremen and other team members to address any issues or concerns that may arise during production.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
- Experience : At least 1-2 years of experience operating CNC machines, especially in a wood shop environment.
- Skills / Qualifications : Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers; strong attention to detail;
basic computer skills.
- Personal Characteristics : Excellent time management and organizational skills; strong work ethic; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Other Requirements : Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods; willingness to work overtime as needed.
