We are building a team of professionals dedicated to meeting the needs of our communities. CareWell Urgent Care is a patient-focused organization with a strong emphasis on teamwork, who upholds the highest ethical standards and treats all with compassion.
The LPN is responsible for the triage and for providing on-site aid. They are expected to assess patients' conditions and implement first-aid procedures.
If patient transport is necessary, the LPN will prepare patient for transport.

A typical day in the life of a LPN, includes :
- Completes daily chart checks for accuracy of chart documentation, charges, and completion of orders. Obtain patient vitals and patient histories
- Performs Testing : vision, audiometers, breath alcohol, EKG's, pulmonary function, nerve conduction screens, and phlebotomies
- Performs Injections : subcutaneous, intradermal, intramuscular or intravenous as directed by Physician
- Performs Point of Care Testing : strep, drug screens, mono, glucose, influenza, urine pregnancy, H. Pylori, urinalysis
- Dispenses pre-packaged medications and other treatment modalities
- Performs sterile technique with trauma patients, instrument cleaning, and sterilization
- Assists providers with exams and testing (pelvic exams, eye / ear irrigations, I&D's, joint infection preparation, casting / splinting preparation)
Education & Experience :
- 1 or more years as an LPN or a current NREMT license
- Proficient in MS Office & Docutap
- Prior experience in an emergency room or urgent care (preferred)
Our centers are open 7 days per week 8AM to 8PM.
Full-time employees must work three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends
Part-time employee must work two 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends
Per Diem employees must work a minimum of three 12-hour shifts per month
