Department : Law School Campus : Lincoln Center (LC) - NYC Position Summary : The Assistant Director of Admissions recruits Law School applicants including at engagements off-campus and online, reviews a large number of applicant files, reviews and ensures maintenance of admissions webpages.

  • Essential Functions : Reports primarily to the Director of Admissions. Is a member of admissions committee that reviews a high volume of applicant files;
  • Assumes responsibility for off-campus candidate recruitment. Functions as Admissions representative for the Law School at National and regional recruitment fairs and forums which involves significant travel during the fall semester (September November) including weekend and evening commitments;

some spring semester (January April) travel may also be required. Is primarily responsible for managing and maintaining all JD Admissions webpages, including internal admitted student portal.

Is primarily responsible for coordinating all admissions virtual meetings on Zoom, Calendly, and LinkTree. Assumes responsibility for assisting in maintaining correspondence with prospective students;

Supports Associate Director in hosting high profile Admitted Student Yield Events both off and on campus. Undertakes special projects and responsibilities as needed by the Director and Associate Director of Admissions.

Required Qualifications : Bachelor's degree or four years of equivalent work experience required. Two years of experience in the admissions, student services environment or related area Minimum Salary : $58,500 Maximum Salary : $72,000
