Job Summary :
The Department of Orthopedics is seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Science Professional to join a multidisciplinary team whose research focuses on musculoskeletal regenerative medicine.
The key activities for this position include isolation and expansion of primary musculoskeletal cells, as well as work with translational animal models to test regenerative therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities :
- Technical laboratory work related to cellular biology including cell culture, differentiation assays, biochemical analysis, and quantitative PCR.
- Animal handling and dissecting musculoskeletal tissues.
- Processing and sectioning paraffin embedded tissues.
- Record and compile accurate records, laboratory protocols, and communicate summaries of experimental results including organizing and maintaining research data, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Assisting with general lab tasks and lab maintenance.
Work Location :
Onsite this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.
