Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations providing services, insight and leadership in the evolving field of behavioral healthcare.
Devereux Arizona serves more than 4,000 individuals with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive differences each year across the state.
We offer residential treatment, short-term residential treatment, a private school, community-based services, integrated care services, prevention programs, respite services and therapeutic foster care.
Located in Phoenix, AZ the Training (Learning) Specialist schedules and delivers training and development to Devereux-Arizona employees using a variety of instructional strategies and activities suited for adult learners.
The Learning Specialist will monitor, evaluate, and record training activities as well as assist to create and develop training materials.
This position will also conduct new hire orientation.
Pay Range : $20 - $22 / hr
Schedule : Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, with evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)
Minimum high school diploma or equivalency required; Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Human Resources, Business or related field highly preferred
Four (4) years of formal training experience with a high school diploma / GED OR two (2) years of formal training experience with a Bachelor’s degree
Behavioral Health experience preferred
Experience training adults highly preferred
Proficient uses in technologies utilized to deliver presentations
Proficient in use of Microsoft Applications - Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel
OTHER :
Must be available to attend two (2) weeks of required orientation training (paid, Mon-Fri 8 : 30am-5pm) plus additional 2-3 weeks on the job training
Valid Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check
Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)
Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment
Drug test within 24hrs of offer w / negative results
Evenings and weekends required as needed.
