Responsibilities :
- Perform thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests on a variety of small animals, including dogs, cats, and potentially exotic pets.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for medical conditions and surgical procedures as needed.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to discuss diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records using our electronic health records system.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff to deliver comprehensive veterinary care.
- Stay updated on the latest advances in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements :
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Washington State, or ability to obtain licensure.
- Experience in diagnosing and treating small animals; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
