Performing initial assessment sessions and using a variety of methods to evaluate client needs.Performing follow up sessions and follow jointly development medication treatment plan.
Understanding and using medical decision making to bill E / M billing codes.Providing therapeutic interventions to support medication management.
Coordinating caseload in a way that aligns with prescription refills and client-centered care.Performing prescription management and following ethical and legal policies and standards for prescribing.
Completing prior authorizations for medications, as needed.Completing client-requested documentation related to medications.
Referring clients for additional testing as needed to inform medication management.Completing clinically necessary documentation and accurately maintaining clinical records.

Required Qualifications : Master's or Doctoral Degree in NursingAPRNCertifications / Licenses Maintain an active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota (CNP, APRN)PMHNP-BC or in the process of pursing a mental health certification (e.
g., PMHNP-BC) recognized by the board of nursing1+ years of clinical experience as a APRN in a Psychiatric settingKnowledge of regulatory standards governing care delivery and operationsBasic understanding of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
