Position Summary

Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital Mondays 8am to 12pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 8am to 4pm abd Fridays 8a to 2pm. Must be a licensed PTA

Department treats both adults and children, including a "fast track" for minor emergencies, and

is a designated Primary Stroke Center. The campus also includes an Orlando Health Cancer

Responsibilities

Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for providing Physical Therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist

  • Demonstrates ability to appropriately treat patients according to professional standards of practice.
  • Interpersonal communication skills include the ability to coordinate patient care with other team members, and counsel patients

and their families.

Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state

and local standards.

Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedure

Qualifications

Education / Training

Associate degree or graduate from an accredited two-year college program in Physical Therapist Assistant.

Licensure / Certification

Current license in the State of Florida as Physical Therapist Assistant.

Maintains current BLS / HealthCare Provider certification.
