Job Descriptions :
Middle School Inclusion Special Education Teacher (Position 1) :
- Work in an inclusion classroom setting.
- Provide support to middle school students with disabilities in general education classrooms.
- Collaborate with mainstream teachers to adapt curriculum and implement accommodations.
- Facilitate student participation and ensure individualized learning needs are met.
Middle School Inclusion Special Education Teacher (Position 2) :
- Serve in an inclusion classroom environment.
- Assist middle school students with diverse needs in accessing the general education curriculum.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote academic and social-emotional growth.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and collaborate with parents.
Middle School Resource Special Education Teacher (Position 1) :
- Work in a resource classroom setting at the middle school level.
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities.
- Utilize assessment data to tailor instructional strategies and interventions.
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to monitor student progress and adjust goals as needed.
Middle School Resource Special Education Teacher (Position 2) :
- Serve in a resource classroom setting within a middle school.
- Support students with disabilities in academic and behavioral skill development.
- Implement individualized interventions and accommodations based on student IEPs.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and school staff.
Elementary Resource Special Education Teacher (Position 3) :
- Work in a resource classroom environment at the elementary level.
- Provide direct instruction and support to elementary students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate instruction and assess student progress.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to promote student success and independence.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred).
- Minnesota State teaching certification in Special Education or eligibility.
- Experience working with students with disabilities in inclusion or resource settings.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
